Infection of coraciiform birds with M genavense, which was suspected in another study, (12) was proven, widening the host range of M genavense.
Birds included in the study comprised 15 species in the orders Passeriformes, Psittaciformes, Coliiformes, Columbiformes, Coraciiformes, and Ciconiiformes.
