The Italian company ENI is seeking to increase the production of Zohr field in the deep waters of the Mediterranean Sea to 2.5bn cubic feet (
cu ft) of natural gas per day by the end of next month, compared to the current 2.3bn
cu ft.
Featuring a usable batch capacity of 140
cu ft and a 271-cu-ft total capacity, the mixer is intended for dry bulk blending with or without the addition of coatings, flavorings, vitamins or other liquids to food products.
They are rated at 17
cu ft and 283 cu ft/hr, respectively, at maximum RPM with 100% efficient conveyable product and no slippage.
The reduction expected in the emission of natural gas this year is 22,864mn
cu ft. In the previous four years the figures were 75,641
cu ft (2016), 43,412
cu ft (2015), 42,802
cu ft (2014) and 42,997
cu ft (2013).
The mixer has a usable batch capacity of 40
cu ft (1.132 cu m), total capacity of 80
cu ft (2.27 cu m) and weight capacity of 4000 Lbs (1814 kg), and is equally effective in blending of batches from 100 down to 5 percent of rated capacity.
On the other hand, the emirate imported 833.2 billion
cu ft of natural gas in 2013, at a daily average of 2.3 billion
cu ft, the report said.
Capacity is available from 5 to 58
cu ft. Storage options include shelves, drawers, and roll-out baskets.
Further, the company averaged about 47,000 barrels per day of oil and NGL production, up by 26% from last year while total production for all products averaged 1.4bn
cu ft equivalent in first-quarter 2012.
The GDN earlier reported Bahrain's proven natural gas reserves stood at 7.7 trillion cubic feet (
cu ft) at the end of last year.
Iraq has proven gas reserves estimated at 112.6 trillion
cu ft, the worlds 11th-largest.
