For vehicles with a large engine capacity, new excise taxes come as follows: up to 3000
cubic centimeters - 600 manats (previously 400 manats) plus five manats (previously three manats) for each
cubic centimeter of engine (from 2001 to 3000)
cubic centimeters of engine size and so on.
According to the study released by the Forestry Bureau earlier this week, the team sampled the air at eight different national forest parks, and discovered that Manyueyuan contains the highest density of negative ions at its Virgin Falls area, reaching up to 27,192 negative ions per
cubic centimeter.
Chemical Co., is a room deodorizer that produces 500,000 negative ions per
cubic centimeter when plugged into an electric outlet.
A million fewer sperm per
cubic centimeter would not make much difference in a man with a healthy sperm count but could mean trouble for a man with low sperm counts who is trying to get his partner pregnant, she said.
The grades on BM 2 however, have a higher density range than those from BM 1, 1.10 to 1.25 g/[c.sup.3] (grams per
cubic centimeter) versus 0.85 to 1.10 g/[c.sup.3].
It said it found 13,000 plankton per
cubic centimeter at 26 places, including off the coast of Arao in Kumamoto Prefecture, which has damaged farmed fish, while another kind of plankton that killed a large number of short-necked clams in Isahaya Bay, Nagasaki Prefecture, in the summer of 2000 was detected at 23 places.
A steel handgun, for example, has a density of around 7.8 grams per
cubic centimeter (g/cc).
In the same way, as Maxwell pointed out, gases can defy the second law of thermodynamics if all the molecules happen to move in the same direction, or all the faster molecules gain still more speed from the slower ones--but the chance of that happening is so small that in the entire lifetime of the Universe, it is not likely to have happened in any
cubic centimeter of it.
None of these samples exceeded the current OSHA action level of 0.1 fiber per
cubic centimeter (f/cc).
The Asbestos Information Association, an employer group, and industry in general, had backed the 0.5 fiber per
cubic centimeter limit OSHA had proposed in 1984.
Thus, the excise duty on the import of buses with an engine capacity of up to 4000
cubic centimeters will be two manat for each
cubic centimeter.
