(kyo͞o′lĕks′)n. pl. cu·li·ces (-lĭ-sēz′) Any of various mosquitoes of the genus Culex, which includes the common house mosquito (C. pipiens) and species that spread diseases such as West Nile virus. Also called culex mosquito.
