deployable joint task force augmentation cell
A combatant commander (CINC) asset composed of personnel from the CINC's staff and component representatives. The members represent a multi-service, multi-disciplined group of planners and operators which operationally report to the CINC's Operations Directorate until deployed to a joint task force (JTF). It can be tailored to meet the needs of a commander, joint task force and deploy within 48 hours from notification. Members can also act as liaison officers between the CINC and the JTF. Also called DJTFAC.
