2002: An
ethogram of intraspecific agonistic and display behaviour for the wandering salamander, Aneides vagrans.
Behavioral quantification (walking, drinking, eating, ruminating and leisure) was based on an
ethogram developed by Almeida et al.
Behavioral activities observed in the study are based on the
Ethogram given in Table 1.
Key words: corticosterone, stress, behavior,
ethogram, avian, psittacine, cockatiel, Nymphicus hollandicus
An
ethogram of body patterning behavior in the biomedically and commercially valuable squid Loligo pealei off Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
For this we made an
ethogram to determine what each different action looked like - we needed to know the difference between playing and aggression - and marked down whenever the bears were displaying any of these actions.
An
ethogram describing swimming activity, social behavior, resting, feeding and substrate type was developed to analyze the behavior of test subjects.
Based on these estimates, we created an
ethogram which describes the sequence of mating behaviors.
Table II.- The
ethogram of different abnormal and normal behavior observed at both captive conditions.
Frequency of all the activities was recorded on
Ethogram. All the observations were noted at considerable invisible heighted site without disturbing their normal activities according to the animal welfare regulations.
The 2 observers were trained together before each recording period to get familiarized with the
ethogram and to test the consistency across them in the evaluation of the behaviors.
