Samples found infected with genus Microsporum were 38 (82.6%) while 6 (13.04%) of the positive samples were detected positive for genus Trichophyton.
In the presence study among the different species of the genus Microsporum M gypseum was found as the most common isolate (7.8%) followed by M persicolor (0.4%).
