ichthyosis vul·ga·ris
(vŭl-gā′rəs, -gâr′əs)n. A genetic skin disorder characterized by dry, thickened, scaly skin, especially on the limbs, and prominent lines on the palms and soles, with symptoms usually developing in childhood.
