As we know in a group of the periodic table, similar charged ions increase in size from top to bottom, whereas,
isoelectronic positive ions show a decrease in ionic radius from left to right, because of the increasing nuclear charge.

Since oxygen and sulfur are
isoelectronic, the oxygen vacancy on the S-doped system generates [Ti.sup.3+] states just as with the pristine Ti[O.sub.2] (101) (see Figure 6(d)).
Although the six-membered central ring is
isoelectronic with benzene, it is currently understood that boroxines do not have aromatic character (Korich and Iovine 2010).
The
isoelectronic point or isoionic point (IP) is the pH, at which the amino acid does not migrate in an electric field.
Subsequently, the LEAs with complete ORFs were subjected to molecular weight (MW) and
isoelectronic point (pI) predictions using the Compute pI/Mw tool (http://www.expasy.org/tools/protparam.html).
Boron nitride is
isoelectronic to carbon and has a stable hexagonal structure analogous to that of graphite and possesses chiralities [46] (Figure 5).
The semiconductors of I-III-[VI.sub.2] family are
isoelectronic with the zinc blende II-VI compound semiconductors.
However, it was measured in the
isoelectronic spectra of [.sup.107]Ag I (32) and [.sup.111]Cd II (33).
Polymers with imine (HC=N) linkages are
isoelectronic with the HC=CH-linked derivatives and result in significant difference in the electronic and optoelectronic properties.
