Lé·ger
(lā-zhā′), Alexis Saint-Léger Pen name Saint-John Perse (pĕrs, pûrs) 1887-1975. French poet and diplomat whose works include Anabase (1924) and Chronique (1960). He won the 1960 Nobel Prize for literature.
