Only England's Zoe Derham kept pace with Parry as she recovered from a no-throw in her first visit to the circle and then piled on the pressure with a personal best effort of 62.27m - two metres ahead of Derham before the final round of throws.
Perris Wilkins, the British record holder from Banbury, easily won the discus with a throw of 59.82 metres and also had a no-throw which looked to be in excess of 60 metres.
