The challenge, said Felsheim, lies in the basics of Raman as it relies on the
nonelastic scattering of light from the molecular structure--therefore giving, by design, a very weak signal.
Circumference measurements were performed with a
nonelastic measuring tape.
We measured HC around the widest portion of the buttocks using a
nonelastic tape to the nearest 0.1 cm.
After recording demographic data, anthropometric measurements were performed by using
nonelastic tape measure, pelvimeter and manuel goniometer.
In this section, we deal with the concept of
nonelastic curve and their energy for different type of curves in [E.sup.4.sub.1].
The nutritional status of the participants was determined by Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) between the shoulder and (olecranon) and the tip of the elbow (acromion process) of the nondominant hand using a nonstretchable and
nonelastic tape.
Abdominal circumference was measured in centimeters to the nearest 0.1 cm, using a flexible
nonelastic tape (Roche, Switzerland), the measurement taken at the midway region between the lowest rib margin and the iliac crest, in standing position with abdomen relaxed, feet together, and weight equally divided over both legs.
Modeling of rock mass is a very difficult job due to the presence of discontinuities, anisotropic, heterogeneous, and
nonelastic nature of rock mass, using empirical and numerical methods [1, 2].
The appearance of the isolates varied with most of the isolates being diffuse and
nonelastic (KT5, MC14, MC7, MC13, MC12, MK12, MK11, KT5, MK9, MK20, KT4, KT2, MC10, MC9, MC4, MK10, MC8, MC11, MC1, MC5, MK20, MC6, MC3, MC2) while others were dense and elastic in appearance (KT3, MC15, KT1, MK18).
Waist circumference was measured with
nonelastic tape measure at the upper border of the iliac crest, parallel to the floor without compressing the skin.
Waist and hip circumference were measured to the nearest 0,5 cm using standard technique with
nonelastic tape, at the end of normal expiration.
They impart forces which are continuous or intermittent, elastic or
nonelastic, and light or heavy.
