Olivenite' the school's Fourth Annual Day.
There were also annabergite from Laurium, Greece; kermesite from Pezinok, Slovakia; sphalerite from Banska Stiavnica (Schemnitz), Slovakia; chalcocite and
olivenite from Cornwall, England; some top-class vanadinite specimens of recent vintage from Mibladen, Morocco; and a few dozen of the new mimetites from Badenweiler.
In the InnSuites room of Fabre Minerals (mineral@fabreminerals.com), Jordi Fabre had 15 intriguing
olivenite specimens which were found in 2006 at the Nubia mine, Ibitiara, Bahia, and are now being marketed for the first time.
In Mechoui, adamite forms bottle-green, lens-shaped crystals, resembling zinc-rich
olivenite, to 0.2 mm in dolomite cavities.
There were Cornish and Russian specimens aplenty: chalcophyllite, torbernite, liroconite crystals to 1 cm, chalcocite crystals to 2 cm,
olivenite, copper, crocoite, cerussite, feldspar crystals, etc.
The Smale/Royal Society exhibit included the world's best liroconite and the world's best clinoclase "ball" of dark green crystals on matrix, as well as superb specimens of chalcocite, langite,
olivenite, cornwallite and bournonite.
At the Umbria de Ramonete prospect, chenevixite forms yellow-green to grass-green crusts and masses with
olivenite, and powdery to nodular precipitates on quartz.
Associated minerals are: chalcocite, wulfenite, duftite, "[beta]-duftite" (calcian conichalcite), "cuproadamite" and
olivenite.

olivenite, conichalcite, jarosite, arseniosiderite, scorodite, malachite, azurite, chlorargyrite, mixite and lavendulan.
(4) Secondary arsenates including adamite, erythrite, karibibite, parasymplesite, pharmacosiderite,
olivenite, schneiderhohnite, and villyaellenite from the Veta Negra mine near Los Loros.
Associated minerals are: cuprite, copper, silver, algodonite, domeykite, malachite, connellite,
olivenite, theoparacelsite and gerhardtite.
