The sections of the spinal cord stained with osmic acid revealed darkly stained intact myelin sheaths reflecting normal myelination of nerve fibers in the control and sham groups (Fig.9A,B).
The small tissue blocks fixed in 3% glutaraldehyde were transferred to 1% osmic acid solution for re-fixation.
