All the samples were dehydrated in ascending grades of ethanol, cleared in butanol and embedded in parablast. Sections of 5-6 um thick sections were stained with haematoxylin and eosin (HandE) staining for general histological studies, and Masson's Trichrome stain for collagen fibres.
