The other day, I had to look up "whispered pectoriloquy" to be reminded of what it meant.

Egophony is assessed by asking the patient to repeat the letter "e," while whispered pectoriloquy is assessed by asking the patient to whisper the phrase "12-3" while the nurse auscultates the chest wall.
This is the sort of stuff to keep one awake in the early hours of the morning, along with the whispering pectoriloquy.
