potassium sodium tartrate
n. A colorless efflorescent tetrahydrate salt, KNaC4H4O6·4H2O, used in making mirrors, as an analytical reagent, and as a laxative. Crystals of this compound are noted for their piezoelectric properties. Also called Rochelle salt.
