Compared with the normal elderlies, ReHo values decreased in aMCI patients in the left temporal lobe (middle temporal gyrus and inferior temporal gyrus), left parahippocampal gyrus, occipital lobe, lingual gyrus, precuneus, and other regions (P<0.05; Figure 3, Table 1), while ReHo values increased in the right side frontal lobe (inferior frontal gyrus), left superior temporal gyrus,
precentral gyrus (frontal lobe), right thalamus, the left fusiform gyrus, and other regions (P<0.05; Figure 4, Table 2).
The results indicated that using the activation signals from the attention-function-related region (middle frontal gyrus-angular gyrus)(7) and the motor-function-related region (
precentral gyrus)(8) were optimal for correctly distinguishing the presence or absence of concurrent ASD.
(28) Luciana and colleagues reported similar findings, such that alcohol-naive controls showed an increase in volume in white-matter regions of the
precentral gyrus, miTG, SFG, and lingual gyrus between baseline and follow-up, whereas binge drinking adolescents did not.
Furthermore, lateralized cortical decreases were observed in the right middle frontal gyrus, inferior frontal gyrus,
precentral gyrus, superior temporal gyrus, thalamus, and putamen and in the left cuneus, precuneus, cingulate gyrus, fusiform gyrus, middle temporal gyrus, and medial frontal gyrus.
During the Inflation event, a one-sample i-test revealed that the explosion risk level was positively associated with activity in the bilateral insula, while being negatively associated with activity in the left
precentral gyrus and parietal, temporal, occipital, and cerebellar regions (see Table 2).
In some other regions, including the posterior cingulate, superior parietal lobule, fusiform,
precentral gyrus, and precuneus, group asymmetry indices varied slightly over 5 visits and the values approximately equal zero (Figure 2).
Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI-MR) revealed a focal high intensity signal in the right
precentral gyrus at high convexity with a cerebral infarct.

precentral gyrus, and medially to include the insula.
