A Kamchatka mew gull from Siberia recently appeared on Nantucket, along with a little gull, black-headed gull, and
red phalarope. They came on the heels of a MacGillivray's warbler (a western species) in Lakeville, a Ross' goose in Ipswich, and a white-winged dove in Boston.
He manages to humanise the animals and make their day-to-day routines similar to that of their human counterparts: from the wild wolves that hunt in packs like the Geordie Shore girls on a night out, to a band of
red phalarope birds doing their amusing battle dance like Frankie Cocozza after a few too many in a nightclub.
