ON AUGUST 16, 2007 we said that prospective Tory MP and Tory Councillor Debi Jones owned a mobile phone shop and that she had employed a PR company to issue a press release on her behalf on the subject of "
smexting" in order to promote her business.
This week, m-viron's public relations company, Quiet Storm Consultants, put out a release of Debi's thoughts on the new practice of smexting - a word coined by Orange to explain the 7.5 million extra texts since the smoking ban.
"Smexting means text messaging while you are smoking," intones Debi, for no apparent reason, except to promote her business.
