The study published in the journal 'Maturitas' examined health care research on
transgender men who become pregnant at or after age 35 to determine their medical and mental health needs.
According to the notification, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister has ordered the health department to take necessary steps for providing safe environment to the
transgender community at all government and non-governmental healthcare institutions of the province, in response to the instructions the health department had issued a notification to provide separate words/rooms for the
transgender persons in the all government hospital across the province with immediate effect.
The notification further provided that in the MTI Hospitals; a total of 5 beds will be reserved for
transgender persons, in Category A and B hospitals, a total of four beds will be allocated for
transgender while three beds will have to be allocated for them in category C hospitals in the province.
The
transgender community is one of those ignored and neglected segment of the society, who are vulnerable to stigma and harassment and ignorance.

transgender person Shakeela was subjected to severe violence by a group of young people in Mardan on Eid day but the police didn't take action though the alliance's leaders made repeated requests.

Transgender Person's Protection of Rights Act 2018 it is illegal to deny health care services to
transgender community across Pakistani but many
transgender people continue to face discrimination in health care and coverage.
