YEARBOOK

En los centros de educación secundaria (high schools) y universidades estadounidenses se suele publicar un anuario (yearbook) al final de cada curso académico, en el que se registran muchos aspectos de su vida académica y social. El libro contiene fotografías de cada uno de los alumnos, profesores y demás personal de la administración, además de fotografías de grupos y organizaciones estudiantiles. Una sección se dedica a las estudiantes más atractivas, entre las cuales se incluye la Homecoming Queen, reina de las fiestas de antiguos alumnos. También hay secciones dedicadas a los estudiantes con más probabilidades de éxito en la vida y a aquellos que gozan de mayor popularidad. Es tradición que los estudiantes escriban dedicatorias en los anuarios de sus compañeros de clase.
