Even the venerable Palm Springs Aerial tramway got a recent
facelift and now sports the world's largest rotating tram car that
take riders from the desert floor to the 8,516-foot Mt. One car stalled several hundred feet up from the base, while the
other stopped near the upper station at 8,500 feet, said Nancy Nichols,
spokeswoman for the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The McCallum Theatre, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and
the communities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and Ranch
Mirage are all just a short drive away. |
