The air-intake and air-cleaning systems have also been redesigned.
It is reportedly the only system with a single large (60-mm) air-intake pipe and exhaust pipe instead of multiple smaller (10-mm) pipes.
The properties of this material are said to make it suitable for use in applications that require occasional contact with automotive fuels or long-term contact with most automotive oils, like connector gaskets and parts in air-intake systems.
