Los Lobos: Immediately following Reverend Horton Heat (Los Lobos started seconds after Heat finished) -- and with all the otherne bands on the bill -- it only made sense that the band would emphasize its raw R & B side, rather than its artsier tendencies.
All in all, this one is sort of for the artsier, indie rock crowd; although it seems like it's getting artier and indie rockier, and not so much with the skating action.
Director Steven Soderbergh, who oscillates between high-gloss entertainments like ``Erin Brockovich'' and ``Ocean's Eleven'' and scruffier, artsier works (``Full Frontal,'' ``sex, lies, and videotape''), shot this one for what looks like pocket change with an all-amateur cast.
