Islamabad, October 16, 2009 (Frontier Star): The smuggling of Afghan Transit Trade (ATT) goods into Pakistan was causing a direct revenue loss of over two billion dollars annually to Pakistan apart from stunting growth of local industry and government should take all possible measures to stop the misuse of ATT.
Janoo pointed out that Pakistan government was loosing billions of rupees in duty due to rising tea smuggling under ATT.
1) In 2007 written submissions from many UN member states demonstrated mostly positive views on an ATT.
