Boeing on Thursday unveiled the Navy's first EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft.
On 12 October 2005 the EA-18G next-generation airborne electronic attack aircraft officially received the popular name "Growler.
When delivering global positioning system (GPS)/inertial navigation system (INS) or unguided weapons on GPS coordinates, attack aircraft confirm the target location with the JTAC or forward air controller-airborne (FACA).
