The JCs: Pierce College's Alexandra Rogers won the 50-and 100-meter backstrokes at the state swimming championships, and Jessica Chen finished second in the 100 freestyle. Criste's decision to not swim in either breaststroke event gives Crescenta Valley of La Crescenta's James Martin - from California Aquatics - a legitimate chance to win four events, including the 100 and 200 backstrokes. |
