A CARE home worker stole bank cards from a 92-year-old resident and helped herself to pounds 1200 in month.
As of the end of June, 2009, the number of credit cards is 44,024,068; bank cards is 61,169,356; ATM is 22,714; and POS is 1,707,974 in Turkey.
The aim is to provide Islamic financial institutions with new insight in how bank cards can and will play a significant role in their overall product portfolio.
