| It is currently recommended that a barium study be performed before capsule endoscopy in patients with symptoms suggestive of partial obstruction. A small bowel barium study showed dilated small bowel loops and a few number of diverticules of the small bowel. The secondary endpoints were postoperative suture line leak, postoperative hemorrhage, and evidence of gastric outlet obstruction by endoscopy and upper GI barium study. |
