Thank you to Reed Mangels, PhD, RD, who sent her articles in to us, even while finishing up her teaching semester and putting on a bas mitzvah for her daughter.
``We were pretty much tapped out after the bas mitzvah,'' said Jackie Josh.
Obviously, the bas mitzvah is a recent development but the tradition of female puberty isn't.
