There was a confidence, even a nobility, in this sheer beingness in nature, and I basked in it.
On the human level, we need to value more the beingness of those whose life is no longer useful - and of our own lives when we arrive at that condition of consciousness of being no longer useful in the world's terms as producer, consumer, or even ornament.
