The act of observing or studying birds is called birdwatching or birding. The British Bird Fair, which took place from 21-23 August, has been hailed as a success for the county after more than 1,000 delegates a day visited Birdwatching Northumberland's stall. By region, the report found that birdwatching was most popular in the South, with an estimated 33 percent of the population taking part in the activity. |
