Thanks for that Alan but I couldn't help thinking it would have been a fitting irony had the Italians been at the wrong end of a bit of biscotto given their domestic record
By the way, biscotto is biscuit in Italian and for some unknown reason it's their colloquial term for football jiggery-pokery.
