Byline: NIGEL THOMPSON IF the cost of a ski holiday this winter makes you feel wobblier than a beginner who has accidentally strayed on to a black run that's covered in buttered ball bearings.
The team event involves men and women skiing a Super-G on the famed Face de Bellevarde, a black run which has been watered so it resembles a sheet of ice and used for the men's events.
And for those brave enough to tackle it, this resort boasts the longest black run in Europe - Sarenne - affectionately known as "the mother of all black runs".
