blitz chess

n.
A form of chess in which all moves must be completed during a fixed time, usually five minutes per player. Also called speed chess.

Before the awarding ceremony, an open blitz chess championship was held which was won by Reyjoy P.
The format includes five and 10-minute blitz chess, and lightning chess, in which a player must make a move every time a 10-second buzzer sounds.
