The spongy, red tissue that fills the bone cavities of mammals. Bone marrow is the source of red blood cells, platelets, and most white blood cells.

The privately held company develops anti-cancer therapies, treatments for chemotherapy-related bone marrow suppression and drugs to manage transplant rejection.
Of 127 test patients who failed to respond to traditional chemical and radiation treatments, about 60 percent have gone into remission without the hair loss, nausea and bone marrow suppression seen in traditional CLL therapies.
There was no clinically significant bone marrow suppression in patients with either prior or no prior transplant.
