BOXING DAY
El día después de Navidad es Boxing Day, fiesta en todo el Reino Unido, aunque si el 26 de diciembre cae en domingo el día de descanso se traslada al lunes. El nombre proviene de una costumbre del siglo XIX, cuando en dicho día se daba un aguinaldo o pequeño regalo (Christmas box) a los comerciantes, carteros etc. En la actualidad es una fecha en la que se celebran importantes encuentros deportivos.
