These samples were collected from 2002 through 2005 and included 4 sputum, 4 bronchoalveolar lavage, 1 throat swab, and 1 serum.
Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid showed normal cell differential counts.
Finally, a video tower is useful during a biopsy or bronchoalveolar lavage because it allows the assistant to watch the procedure, as well.
