One of the fun things about martial arts is that it teaches you a bit of history as you go through it, and the bull sessions after a good workout are great.
And so we fail to understand that privileging one version of the Ten Commandments over another or preferring a fundamentalist interpretation of Isaiah over a historian's interpretation is to take sides that belong only in churches or bull sessions, not in the classrooms of the nation's schools.
