You are referring to my reply to the letter from Matt in the Catskills, NY; where I wrote, "I carry 'em all--red flag, hand-held flairs, flair gun, bullhorn and a cardboard cutout of the Budweiser girl in a bikini. Crown Plaza Hotel General Manager Michael Payton watched as the procession with signs, bullhorns and drums stomped down Century Boulevard. Huge American-made Caterpillar bulldozers were threatening civilian homes, while a group of peace activists from the International Solidarity Movement wearing bright orange vests and shouting through bullhorns asked the Israeli army driver to observe international law and spare the civilian dwellings. |
