NASDAQ: TEVA) announced today that it has commercially shipped Bupropion Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets, 300 mg, the generic version of Biovail Corporation's antidepressant Wellbutrin XL[R] Tablets, pursuant to an agreement with IMPAX Laboratories, Inc.
The three issues which Judge Selna tentatively found in favor of Biovail on the infringement controversy were the issues of free of pore-forming agent, dissolution profile, and comprising from 50mg to 400 mg bupropion hydrochloride, concluding that Anchen's product met each of these limitations of the '341 patent.
TORONTO -- Biovail Corporation (NYSE:BVF)(TSX:BVF) announced today that Wellbutrin(R) XL, the first once-daily extended-release formulation of bupropion hydrochloride approved for the Canadian market for the treatment of depression in adults, has been officially launched and is commercially available.
