LAHORE, October 11, 2009 (Frontier Star): Central leader of Muslim League-N and Member National Assembly, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that time has proved that the apprehensions of Muslim League-N with regard to possible terrorism during bye-elections were not unfounded.
A meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the party was also held in this regard a week ago, in which contesting of bye-elections by Imran Khan was discussed and even voting was held by raising hands and majority gave vote against contesting of elections.
Very low turnout was seen due to the heavy rain on the polling booths set up for bye-election of Dwarka Assembly constituency in New Delhi.
