US FAA last week issued an NPRM requiring new aircraft to feature enhanced cabin, flightdeck and cargo hold protection against explosive devices or projectiles and the identification of "least risk bomb location" onboard affected aircraft. HondaJet's 57 cubic-foot aft cargo hold is as much as 50 percent larger than other jets in its class. After that, time flies as the hundreds of adders, pythons, boas and rattlers make their way from the cargo hold to the passengers' eye sockets and what not. |
