| Tokyo, Japan, June 9, 2006 - (JCN) - Morinaga Milk Industry announced on June 8 that its subsidiary Miyaraku Milk Industry will construct a new plant for manufacturing milk cartons and bottles on a site owned by Morinaga in Sendai. In Asia, folding cartons are mainly used for packaging electronics, cosmetics and hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, and cigarettes. As a stop-gap measure, the upgraded gable-top cartons offer a viable alternative to school districts and fluid processors who are unable to convert to the plastic chug technology. |
