ASC is moving forward with over $78 million to date in on-mountain improvements that are an integral part of base village and the entire town's renewal, including this year's new eight person gondola and a six person high speed chair lift which allows skiers to be able to summit the mountain from one lift. A carpet lift, basically a conveyor belt for children that aren't ready for the chair lift, will also be installed for the coming winter. ``We're on our way up the mountain, and the chair lift just stops,'' Goldston recalled. |
