The study of almost 17,500 participants in the 1970 British Cohort Study found that 10-year-olds who ate confectionary daily were significantly more likely to have been convicted for violence at age 34 years.
The Forum was opened by the representative of the Czech Embassy in Skopje, Vaclav Mleziva, Deputy Head of Mission, and it was attended by Metodija Hadzi-Vaskov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia, Pavel Svoboda, Director of the CzechTrade (Czech Trade Promotion Agency) Office in Belgrade, and representatives of approximately 20 Czech companies from the energy sphere and confectionary industry who held meetings with representatives of a number of Macedonian companies.
The fund was inspired by Swiss confectionary magnate Christian Kunzle, who helped to pay for boys suffering from asthma to travel to Switzerland.
