Conwy's Vardre Bowling Club has been handed pounds 880 to train two members to become British Crown Green Bowling Association (BCGBA) rules qualified coaches.
He has been crown green bowling for more than 40 years, playing for Wickmans and latterly The Highway, and has represented the county on numerous occasions.
