Many decades of mining experience have shown that ore shoots within transverse veins generally occurred: a) where quartzite or greenstone is present on one or both walls of the vein; b) adjacent to, or in, the footwall of cross-faults; c) at vein junctions or cymoid loops; or d) where the veins change dip.
