| A cystoscope is an instrument made of a hollow tube with several lenses and a light source, which allows the doctor to see inside the bladder from the urethra. A cystoscope can be used to take pictures of the inside of the bladder. All too frequently, children are examined with cystoscopes, electrodes, and catheters; pumped with drugs; and passed on as mere statistics. |
